We’re proud to share a striking new artwork now on display in our food court, created by emerging student artist Khushi.
This vibrant piece transforms an everyday space into something thoughtful and uplifting. Khushi’s work explores an artificial landscape built from unexpected materials, including folded paper, a canvas bag and a disposable gown. Where her earlier art focused on darker tones and heavy emotions, this artwork embraces colour, clarity and change. The result is a warm and optimistic piece that invites you to pause, reflect and create your own meaning.
The project came to life through a partnership between Northgate Shopping Centre, Glenorchy City Council’s Safe City team and Guilford Young College, with support from Lighthouse Signs. Together, we transformed a vacant space into something meaningful for our community.

This artwork is more than a visual refresh. It supports local voices, brightens your visit and strengthens our connection with the community we know and love.
Next time you’re grabbing a bite, take a moment to enjoy it. The artwork will be on display until July, when we get ready to welcome a new shop to our Food Court.
